Where chronic diseases are concerned, there is no alternative to Homeopathy. Because homeopathy cures, not just relieves. Mainstream medicine only relieves by suppressing the disease, which leads to suppression of the ailment; which comes back with renewed vigor sooner or later assuming the avatar of a different disease.

Mainstream medicine believes the human body is like a machine. Repair the malfunctioning part and it is back to peak performance. But the human body is not a mere machine. It is a complicated organic being which should be treated as a whole. Homeopathy does that and that's why it is more effective and safer than other systems of treatment.

This does not mean that it is ineffective in acute ailments. It acts quickly and equally well in common sicknesses. The reason it is so under-reported in the media is because there is no big money involved. No big multi-billion drug firms to push publicity. Remember, if homeopathy does not cure you, it is the fault of the sub-standard homeopath. Properly applied, homeopathy never fails. It is safe without side-effects. It is gentle, so ideal for children and the aged. Homeopathy is not merely another system of medicine. As you explore it's depths, you will find it is a philosophy, almost a religion. It explains why people behave the way the way they do. And the homeopathic remedies will become your friends and formidable allies in the fight against disease.

Research has shown that children treated only by Homeopathic remedies since birth, are healthier and grow up to be healthy adults.

Homeopathic remedies are not prescribed on disease labels, but on symptoms and signs that the body (and mind) gives out. These are warning signals before a disease develops. Homoeopathy cures common colds and coughs

The syrup contained Drosera, Arnica, Belladonna, Artemisia cina, Coccus cacti, Corallium rubrum, Cuprum, Ferrum phos, Ipecacuanha, and Solidago; this study was undertaken in France in 1986. Many other studies have also been conducted with similar results.

If you or your family “catch” colds throughout the fall and winter, homeopathic remedies will probably be quite effective in the treatment of your cough, helping to prevent any complications or even a prolonged sickness.

Those glossy magazine ads and TV commercials that portray the happy family sitting at the breakfast table while “Dr Mom” administers cough medicine are all orchestrated to make you feel as if you too can be happy and have the same “TV family experience” by suppressing coughs and buying into their program.

It is a very good thing we are more intelligent than that.

Homeopathic treatment involves giving a patient with symptoms of an illness extremely small doses of the agents that produce the same symptoms in healthy people when exposed to larger quantities. A homeopathic remedy is prepared by diluting the substance in a series of steps.

Many homeopathic remedies are so highly diluted that no molecules of the original substance are likely to remain after dilution. Homeopathy asserts that the remedy will retain a memory of the diluted substance and the therapeutic potency of a remedy can be increased by serial dilution combined with succussion, or vigorous shaking.

Homeopathy is based on the 'principle of similars', first expressed by Hahnemann as similia similibus curentur or 'let likes cure likes'. The 'law of similars' is an ancient medical maxim,[but its modern form is based on Hahnemann's hypothesis that a constellation of symptoms induced by a given homeopathic remedy in a group of healthy individuals will cure a similar set of symptoms in the sick. Symptom patterns associated with various remedies are determined by 'provings', in which healthy volunteers are given remedies, of varying concentrations, and the resulting physical and mental symptoms are compiled by observers into a "drug picture".

The law of similars is more of a guiding principle than a scientific law. It is not built on a hypothesis that can be falsified. A failure to cure homeopathically can always be ostensibly attributed to incorrect selection of a remedy
